KIBC’S Statement of Faith (What We Believe)神戸国際バプテスト教会の信仰声明　（私たちが信じるもの）

The Scriptures（聖句）

We believe that "all Scripture is given by inspiration of God" 私たちはすべて聖句は神のインスピレーションによって与えられたと信じる。（テモテへの第二の手紙 3:16）. We understand this to mean that the whole Bible is inspired, in that holy men of God "were moved by the Holy Spirit" to write the very words of Scripture.私たちはこの意味を、聖書全体が霊感によって作り出された、聖霊によって動かされた神の聖なる人々によって書かれたことと理解する。(ペテロへの第二の手紙 1:21) We believe that this divine inspiration extends equally and fully to all parts of Scripture as it appeared in the original manuscripts. We believe that the whole Bible in those original manuscripts is, therefore, without error. We believe that all Scripture centers around the Lord Jesus Christ in His person, work, and in His first and second coming. Therefore, no portion of the Old Testament is properly read or understood until it leads to Christ. The Triune Godhead（三位一体の神）

We believe in the one true and living God, the Creator, Redeemer, Sustainer, and Ruler of all things. He is infinite, eternal, and unchangeable, and is revealed to us as the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. 私たちは唯一の真正な、生きておられる神を信じる。そして創造主、あがない主、支持者、そして全ての支配者であられることを信じる。神は無限であり、永遠であり、変わることがなく、そして私たちに父、御子、そして聖霊としてご自身を現わされる。

God the Father: God, as Father, reigns over all of His universe with providential care. He is all-powerful, all-loving, all-knowing, and all-wise. He is fatherly in attitude toward all men but is Father, indeed, to those who have become children of God through Jesus Christ, who will deliver them into the Father’s hands. 父である神：父として神は神意による保護でもって宇宙全体を統括されている。力強く、愛にあふれ、全知全賢である。全ての人間に対して父のようにのぞまれ、実に父の御手に人々を導くイエス･キリストを通して神の子となった人間にとって父であられる。(創世記 1:1; 歴代誌１ 29:10; エレミヤ書 10:10; マタイ書 6:9; 使徒伝 1:7; ローマ人への手紙 8:14-15; コリント人への第一の手紙8:6; コリント人への第一の手紙15:24; エフェソ人への手紙4:6)

God the Son: We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, became man without ceasing to be God, having been conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin, in order that He might reveal God and redeem sinful man. He accomplished this redemption by voluntarily giving Himself as a sinless, substitutionary sacrifice on the cross, thereby satisfying God’s righteous judgment against sin. After substantiating the accomplishment of that redemption and justification by His bodily resurrection from the grave, He ascended to the right hand of His Father, where He intercedes on behalf of those who trust Him. 御子である神：私たちは主であるイエス･キリストが、永遠に神の御子であり、そして神であることを示し、罪深い人間をあがなうために神でありながら人となり、聖霊懐胎によって処女から誕生されたと信じる。キリストは罪なき、代わりの犠牲としてご自身を十字架の死に捧げられた。そのことによって罪に対する神の正義の裁きを満たされた。あがないの成就と、墓の埋葬から肉体の復活による正当化を実証されたのち、キリストは父の右手に上げられ、ご自身を信じる者のために仲裁を行われる。(ルカ書 1:34-35; ヨハネ書 1:1,2,14,18; ローマ人への手紙 3:24-26; ローマ人への手紙 8:3)

God the Holy Spirit: We believe that the Holy Spirit is the Divine Person who convicts the world of sin (righteousness and judgment); bringing new life to those who are spiritually dead; through Christ are baptized all believers into the one true Church, which is the Body of Christ; that He indwells them permanently, seals them unto the day of final redemption, bestows spiritual gifts upon them, and fills (controls) those who are yielding to Him. Every believer is called to live in the power of the indwelling Holy Spirit so that he will not fulfill the lust of the flesh but will bear fruit to the glory of God. 聖霊である神：私たちは、聖霊が神聖なる人格であり、罪に満ちた世界に評決を下し（義と裁き）、霊的に死んでいる人々に新しい命をもたらし、キリストを通して洗礼を受けた全ての信者をキリストの体である一つの真なる教会に集められ、そしてその中に永遠に住まわれ、その者たちの最終のあがないの日まで封印をし、霊的賜物を与えられ、自分をご自身に委ねた者たちを満たされる（支配）と信じる。信じる者ひとりひとりがその中に住まわれる聖霊の力によって生きるよう召されており、そのため肉の欲を満たすのではなく、神の栄光に実を結ぶことができる。(ヨハネ書 3:3-8; ヨハネ書 14:16-17; ヨハネ書 16:7-11; コリント人への第一の手紙12:7-11, 13; エフェソ人への手紙4:30; エフェソ人への手紙5:18)

Creation（創造）

We believe that man was created directly by and in the image of God. We believe that God created the heavens and the earth, including all life, by direct act. 私たちは、人が神の似姿に、神ご自身によって創造されたことを信じる。私たちは、神が天国と地球、そこにある全ての命をご自身で創造されたことを信じる。(創世記 1:1; ヨハネ書1:3; コロサイ人への手紙 1:16-17)

The CHURCH（教会）

We believe that Jesus build a church of His own which consist of all genuine believers and Jesus is the True Head. It exist to reach people for Jesus Christ by equipping the believers, develop their abilities in serving the Lord, to care for one another in order to honor God's name and is manifested in the local church 私たちは、純粋な信者から成るイエス･キリストご自身の教会を建てられ、主がその真の頭であることを信じる。教会は信者に素養を身に付けさせ、主に仕える能力を開発し、神の御名をたたえるためにお互いを保護し合う目的によって存在する。(マタイ書 16: 18; コロサイ人への手紙1: 18; エフェソ人への手紙4: 11-13).

Man（人）

Although man was created in the image of God, he fell into sin and is lost. This is true of all men; and except a man be born again by the Holy Spirit, he cannot see the kingdom of God. 人間は神の似姿に創造されたが、罪に落ち失われた存在となった。これは全ての人間にとって真実であり、聖霊によって新しく生まれかわらなければ神の御国を見ることはできない。 (創世記 1:26-27; ヨハネ書 3:3; ローマ人への手紙 3:10, 23)

The Devil – Satan（悪魔）

We believe that Satan is a person, the author of sin, and the reason for the fall of man, and is destined to the judgment of an eternal punishment in the lake of fire. 私たちは、悪魔が人であり、罪の作者であること、そして人間の堕落の理由であり、火の湖の中で永遠に罰せられる裁きに運命付けられていることを信じる。(マタイ書 4:1-3; 使徒伝 5:3; コリント人への第二の手紙 4:4; 黙示録 20:10)

Atonement For Sin（罪のあがない）

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures as a substitutionary sacrifice and that all who believe on Him are redeemed by His shed blood. We believe in the resurrection of the crucified body of our Lord Jesus Christ and in His ascension into heaven; He is our High Priest and Advocate.私たちは、イエス･キリストが聖書にあるごとく、代用の犠牲として私たちの罪の代わりに死んでくださったこと、そしてキリストを信じる者はすべてキリストの流された血によってあがなわれたことを信じる。私たちは主イエス･キリストの十字架に付けられた体がよみがえり、天国に上られたことを信じる。キリストは私たちの大祭司であり弁護者である。 (ヨハネ書 1:1-3,14; ヨハネ書3:1-7 ; ヘブライ人への手紙10:4-14; ヨハネの第一の手紙 2:2)

Salvation（救い）

We believe that salvation is the gift of God’s grace. It cannot be gained or made more secure by meritorious works, but is freely bestowed upon all who put their faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ at Calvary. All who so trust the Savior are forgiven of their sins and born into the family of God by the regenerating work of the Holy Spirit. 私たちは、救いが神の恵みの賜物であると信じる。救いは非常に良い働きによって得られるものでも、また確実にされるものでもない。十字架の上で完成されたイエス・キリストの働きを信じる者すべてに無償で与えられるものである。救い主を信じる者すべてが罪を許され、聖霊による再生の働きによって神の家族に生まれかわる。(ヨハネ書 1:12; 使徒伝 16:30-33; ローマ人への手紙 10:9-10; エフェソ人への手紙1:7; エフェソ人への手紙2:8-9)

Baptism（洗礼）

We believe that water baptism by immersion is an act of obedience to Christ’s command. It is a public confession of our personal faith in Jesus Christ. As Christ died for our sins, we were raised from death; we walk in newness of life with Him. 私たちは、浸水による洗礼がキリストの命令に従う行為であることを信じる。浸礼はイエス･キリストへの個人的信仰を公に告白するものである。キリストが私たちの罪のために死んでくださった、そのことによって私たちは主とともに新しい命を生きる。(マタイ書 28:19; マルコ書 1:9; コロサイ人への手紙 2:12; ローマ人への手紙 6:3-4)

The Christian Walk（キリスト者の歩み）

We believe that we have a holy calling to walk not after the flesh but after the Spirit, and so to live in the power of the indwelling Spirit in order that we will not fulfill the lust of the flesh. The flesh is never eradicated in this life. Individuals must choose to keep the flesh in subjection to Jesus Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit, or it will surely manifest its presence in life and dishonor our Lord. 私たちには、肉体に従ってではなく、聖霊に従って歩むという聖なる招きがあると信じる。肉体はこの世の命において根絶できないものである。聖霊の力を通して、個々がその肉体をイエス･キリストに服従するように保つことを選択せねばならない。さもなければ必ずこの世の命において肉体はその存在を明らかに示し、主の名誉を汚すものとなる。(ローマ人への手紙 6:11-13; ローマ人への手紙 8:2,4, 12-13; ガラテヤ人への手紙 5:16-23; エフェソ人への手紙お4:22-24; コロサイ人への手紙 2:1-10; ペテロの第一の手紙 1:14--16; ヨハネの第一の手紙 1:4-7; ヨハネの第一の手紙 3:5-9)

The Great Commission（大命令）

Until the return of Christ, it is the Christian’s duty and privilege to seek the fulfillment of Christ's Great Commission and to minister in His name to a needy world. We are to be instruments of Jesus Christ as the Holy Spirit ministers redemption and reconciliation in the world. キリストが再び来られるまで、キリストが残された大いなる命令の成就を求め、そして貧窮する世界にキリストの名前によって仕えることはキリスト者の義務であり特権である。聖霊によってこの世界にあがないと和解が行われるように、私たちはイエス･キリストに用いられる道具となる。(マタイ書 25:31-46; マタイ書 28:18-20)
